Two people including a child died while another was injured in separate road accidents here on Tuesday.

Police said that an over speeding tractor-trolley ran over seven-year-old child Asad while crossing road near Adda Dallan Bungalow. As a result of accident, the child stated to be son of Saleem Bhtti, a resident of Chak No 156/EB died on the spot and tractor-trolley driver fled the scene.

In another incident, a car knocked down a motorcycle carrying two people near 327/EB, Burewala resultantly Abdul Hameed and his son Muhammad Shakeel were critically injured. The car driver managed to escape.

The injured were shifted to THQ Hospital Burewala where Abdul Hameed succumbed to his wounds.

The police after registering separate cases into both incidents at concerned police stations have started investigations.
