Twin cities face flour and sugar shortage

Flour and sugar shortage has been reported in Islamabad and Rawalpindi and Islamabad open market, 24NewsHD TV Channel reported on Tuesday.
The TV channel said that flour has not arrived since Ramazan in Rawalpindi utility stories while sugar has not been available for past one week.
Both items have been missing from the open market for the past few days.
As flour and sugar price raised and the hoarding and shortage witnessed in both cities and the crisis have intensified. In Islamabad flour shortage has been observed while flour is not available in the markets while flour is available in the utility stores of Islamabad, the TV channel reported.
In Badin, the federal government claims to provide relief to the people are merely claims as sugar and flour have not been available at the utility stores for the last one week in Badin district and people are forced to buy flour and sugar at high prices from open markets.
