Former Punjab chief minister Manzoor Wattoo has met ex-president Asif Ali Zardari and rejoined the Pakistan People's Party (PPP), 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Wednesday.

Manzoor Wattoo enquired after Asif Ali Zardari during the meeting that took place at Bilawal House in Lahore.

Former premier Raja Pervaiz Ashraf was also present. Ongoing political situation came under discussion during the meeting and Manzoor Wattoo expressed his resolve to step up efforts to reorganise the party in Punjab.
