Scooties will be provided to 160,000 women teachers across Punjab including Lahore, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday.

The scooties will only be available to public school teachers and the applications for the scooties can be submitted in August.

The scooties will be given only to the teachers of the government schools, who must be on permanent basis.

Teachers with salary of less than Rs50,000 can apply for the scooties.

The applications will be scrutinized in November and scooties will be distributed in December.

The monthly installment of scooties will be charged between Rs2,000 to Rs3,000.
