Grenade attack on JI leader’s house in Peshawar leaves many injured

Three persons including two kids were injured in a hand grenade attack on the house of a Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) leader in Peshawar on Thursday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

According to police, the incident took place in Badaber area.

The house of JI district leader Haji Niaz Muhammad was targeted in the attack.

Two children were also among the injured.

A case was registered against unidentified suspects at the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) police station.

Further investigations were underway.
