Former interior minister Sheikh Rashid said on Thursday that former military dictator Pervez Musharraf’s refusal to return to Pakistan had blocked former prime minister and PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif’s homecoming, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

In a tweet, he regretted it was unfortunate that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif was going ahead with the expansion of his team of assistants and advisers.

He was of the view that the people would be made to pay the exact price for the imported government after the presentation of ‘real budget’. “The country’s economy is on ventilator while the political situation is in ICU,” he commented. 

Terming regime change a ‘miscalculation’ on the part of those who had masterminded it, former interior minister said that it had badly dented PML-N’s politics and tarnished the image of the country’s establishment and judiciary.
