Orlando Bloom sees Katy Perry and daughter in Perth amid marriage ‘rough patch’ 

Orlando Bloom has touched down in Australia to join Katy Perry and their five-year-old daughter Daisy Dove, amid growing speculation of strain in the couple’s nearly decade-long relationship.

The Pirates of the Caribbean star, 48, was spotted on Sunday enjoying some quality father-daughter time in Perth’s city centre. Dressed casually in a printed long-sleeve shirt and black jeans, Bloom carried little Daisy on his shoulders as they strolled through the CBD. The pair appeared cheerful, with Daisy holding a balloon animal and affectionately kissing her father’s head during the outing.

Notably absent was Katy, 39, who was preparing for her Lifetimes Tour performance later that evening at the RAC Arena. The pop star has been touring Australia throughout June, with her final Down Under show scheduled for June 30 in Adelaide.

According to insiders, Bloom’s trip Down Under is more than just a family reunion. Sources reveal the couple plans to have a “heart-to-heart” conversation as they navigate a reported rough patch in their marriage,  a tension reportedly intensified by distance, work obligations, and even disagreement over Katy’s controversial Blue Origin space flight.

“They both love each other, but they have been living different lives for at least a year and in different mindsets,” a source told The Sun. “Katy especially doesn’t want to just give up.”

The couple, who got engaged in 2019 and share one child together, have reportedly been "disconnected" for some time due to conflicting schedules and long stints apart. Katy’s recent tour and professional obligations have kept her away from their Montecito home in California, causing what insiders describe as the “biggest disruption” to their family life.

“There’s been no quality time without distractions,” the insider continued. “It has been ‘go, go, go’ — and they’ve always thrived in a more settled routine.”

Adding to the tension is Orlando’s reported discomfort with Katy’s decision to participate in a space flight with Jeff Bezos’ Blue Origin, which took place earlier this year.

Despite all the challenges, sources close to the couple maintain that there is still hope. “It’s not over. It’s just complicated,” the insider said. “This is the longest they’ve been apart since they got together, and that distance has taken its toll.”
