Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi arrives in Islamabad

Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi arrived in Islamabad on an official visit on Tuesday, 24NewsHD TV reported. 

According to the spokesperson for Pakistan's Foreign Office, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar personally received the Iranian foreign minister upon his arrival at Nur Khan Airbase. 

The spokesperson said Pakistan and Iran enjoy longstanding brotherly relations rooted in shared history, religion, and cultural affinities.

He was also welcomed by PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto and Interior Minister Syed Mohsin Naqvi. 

The two countries have maintained close cooperation over the years and continue to engage on matters of mutual interest.

The spokesperson added that the Pakistani leadership and people warmly welcome Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi and the accompanying Iranian delegation to Islamabad.
