Renowned religious scholar Maulana Tariq Jameel has said the Islamic World and the world at large has been passing through testing times after the coronavirus outbreak.

In his message keeping in view the prevailing situation, Maulana Tariq Jameel said “we didn’t see such a situation in our lifetime therefore maximum precaution is needed. He also asked people to follow the precautionary measures stated by the government.

The cleric said the situation in Italy has worsened and the virus continues to spread in other countries. He suggested that if the virus spreads through handshake then people must avoid handshake and religious gatherings. He said if the virus spreads through gatherings at mosques people should offer prayers at home.
