The Consulate General of Pakistan, Istanbul has organized a flag-hoisting ceremony to mark Pakistan’s National Day.

Mr Nauman Aslam, Consul General of Pakistan hoisted the National Flag in the backdrop of the National Anthem of Pakistan. Messages from the President and the Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan were read by the Consul General on this occasion.

The Consul General, in his address, highlighted the importance of National Day. He mentioned that the Government of Pakistan is aware of the current challenges facing the country and has adopted a comprehensive strategy to steer the country out of these challenges.

Rich tributes were paid to the heroes of the Pakistan movement and those who contributed towards the national objectives, stability, and progress of Pakistan.

The Consul General highlighted Pakistan’s strong relations with the brotherly Republic of Turkiye. He made special mention of the recent devastating earthquake in Turkiye and reiterated the commitment of the Government and people of Pakistan to their continued support for the Turkish brothers and sisters till the last affectee from the earthquake was rehabilitated. The flag-hoisting ceremony ended with prayers for the victims and affectees of the earthquake and for the peace and prosperity of Pakistan and Turkiye.
