Punjab to form commission to dig into 'threats' to Imran Khan
Punjab Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi has said the provincial government decided to form a commission to dig into the threats as alleged by ex-PM Imran Khan, the 24NewsHD TV channel reported.
The action will be taken on the recommendations of the commission, the CM said in a tweet.
Government of Punjab has decided to appoint a Commission to conduct inquiry of assassination threats as alleged by Mr. Imran Khan. We want to ensure that such serious allegation be thoroughly investigated. And strict action will be taken either way.

Imran Khan has been on a protest drive since his ouster from the prime minister’s house through a no-confidence motion in April last year.
He has been calling for snap polls alleging the regime change was the result of a US-back conspiracy. However, the US denied any wrongdoing.
Recently, he claimed without providing evidence that the threat to his life was greater than before.
