Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi extends Pakistan Day greetings, calls for unity

Interior Minister Syed Mohsin Raza Naqvi extended his heartfelt greetings to the nation on Pakistan Day, emphasising that March 23 is a reminder of the sacrifices and struggles made by our forefathers for an independent homeland.

“This day teaches us the lesson of unity, sacrifice, and reaffirming our commitment to national progress,” he said, 24NewsHD TV Channel reported on Sunday.

Naqvi urged the nation to set aside differences and work together for Pakistan’s stability and prosperity. “We must prioritise the interests of our beloved country over personal and political divides,” he stated.

He further emphasised that true national unity lies in upholding the principles of faith, discipline, and collective effort, which are essential for Pakistan’s progress.

“Pakistan is a priceless gift, and safeguarding it is the responsibility of every citizen,” he remarked, adding that national security, stability, and development require active participation from all Pakistanis.

Mohsin Naqvi also issued a strong message against terrorism and extremism, stating that Pakistan has no place for those who spread violence and instability. “Our struggle against terrorism continues and will persist until it is completely eradicated,” he vowed.

The minister concluded with a call for renewed commitment to a brighter future, saying: “On this historic day, let’s reaffirm our pledge to work together for a prosperous and strong Pakistan.”
