Katie Price returns to luxury spending after bankruptcy wipeout
Katie Price is back to her extravagant habits after both of her bankruptcies were officially lifted.
The 46-year-old reality star admitted that she has resumed her lavish spending, revealing that she splurges £500-£700 a week on groceries, often shopping at high-end stores like Waitrose and Sainsbury’s.
Speaking on her podcast, The Katie Price Show, she detailed her weekly "big shop" routine, which still requires mid-week top-ups.
"I do weekly shops, I spend about £500-£700 a week," she told her sister, Sophie. "Sometimes we all go."
The former glamour model and mother of five—to Harvey, 22, Junior, 19, Princess, 17, Jett, 11, and Bunny, 10—also allows her children to fill their own trolleys.
"I hate it because I say to them, we all get a trolley each, and Princess and Ed [her daughter’s boyfriend] fill theirs up, whereas Junior and Jasmine [her son’s girlfriend] are more careful with what they put in," she explained. "They look at the prices, but I just throw everything in. Yet somehow, I still need to top things up during the week."
Despite her return to spending, Price insists she is committed to financial stability following six turbulent years of bankruptcy battles.
"I’m so happy. I can finally move on and put these bankruptcies behind me and now only focus on the positive," she told The Sun.
The OnlyFans model had owed over £750,000 to HMRC in unpaid tax debts and was even arrested in 2024 after skipping a bankruptcy hearing.
Her first bankruptcy, declared in 2019, was officially discharged earlier this year, and this week, a representative confirmed that her second bankruptcy has also been lifted, according to PA News Agency.
With her financial slate wiped clean, Price now has a fresh start—but whether she can rein in her free-spending ways remains to be seen.
