Taylor Swift kicks off 2025 with a heartfelt shoutout to Selena Gomez’s new album
Taylor Swift has officially dedicated her first Instagram post of 2025 to supporting her best friend Selena Gomez and her new album, I Said I Love You First.
The 14-time Grammy winner took to Instagram Stories on Saturday, gushing over Gomez and her boyfriend Benny Blanco’s collaborative album.
“@selenagomez & @itsbennyblanco I LOVE THIS ALBUM SO MUCH. OH MY GODDDDDDDDDDDD,” Swift wrote, expressing her excitement.

This marks Swift’s first social media update in 100 days, following her last post about the Eras Tour on December 11.
Swift has been a vocal supporter of Gomez and Blanco’s relationship ever since the couple announced their engagement in December 2024.
At the time, Swift hilariously declared her involvement in their big day, commenting: “Yes I will be the flower girl.”
According to an earlier press release, I Said I Love You First offers “a unique window into” Gomez and Blanco’s relationship.
“This album came together organically as a direct result of the comfort they both felt when working together creatively,” the statement explained.
The project reportedly chronicles their journey—from before they met, to falling in love, and looking ahead to their future.
With Swift’s seal of approval and fans eager to hear the story behind Gomez and Blanco’s romance, the album is already generating major buzz in the music world.
