Kareena Kapoor Khan shuts down RK Studio revival rumours
Bollywood star Kareena Kapoor Khan has put an end to speculation about the revival of the legendary RK Studio, confirming that there are no plans to bring the iconic studio back to life.
Addressing the buzz during a recent interaction, the actress clarified that reports of a Kapoor family-led revival are simply untrue.
As reported by The Times of India, Kareena stated, “That’s just not true. It was even being discussed in our family group, and everyone was like ‘That isn’t happening’.”
Earlier rumours had suggested that Ranbir Kapoor and Karisma Kapoor could spearhead the revival of RK Studio, originally founded by their grandfather Raj Kapoor.
Kareena’s remarks make it clear that these claims remain purely speculative.
Speaking about Ranbir Kapoor, she highlighted his dedication to acting, saying, “I feel like Ranbir is focused on acting.
He loves acting. I think he’s the best actor in India we have today. So, his focus is on that.” Her words emphasize that Ranbir’s priorities lie in his craft rather than reviving the historic studio.
RK Studio holds a cherished place in the legacy of Hindi cinema, having produced several timeless classics. Despite the nostalgia and emotional attachment, Kareena’s firm stance confirms that a revival is not on the horizon, putting an end to the ongoing industry chatter.
