PML-N under fire over police action against Punjab Assembly staff

A Joint meeting of PTI and PML-Q parliamentary party was held to take up the ongoing situation, 24NewsHD TV channel reported Sunday.

Punjab Assembly Speaker Chaudhry Parvez Elahi, Parliamentary, Usman Bazdar, Basharat Raja, Dr Murad Ras, Mian Aslam Iqbal and Mahmood Rasheed were among the participants.

 The parliamentary party passed resolutions condemning the Punjab police action against assembly staff.

Shehbaz Sharif and Hamza Shehbaz have made Punjab a police state, Parvez Elahi said.

“Thank God that the no-confidence motion against me failed and I came out victorious. 

“Members reposed trust in me because of my four-year performance 

”The incompetence of the imported rulers would be exposed.” 

“The government’s high-handedness and political persecution won’t work. 

Time is changing to correct the bureaucracy and police direction.
