Unidentified gunman killed in Lahore police encounter

Unidentified man killed in deadly clash with law enforcement
An unidentified individual was killed after opening fire on police in the Sundar area, reported 24NewsHD TV on Friday.
Based on their report, the police personnel were on routine patrol when they signalled a person to stop. Upon seeing the police, he opened fire.
The police, forced to defend themselves, opened retaliatory fire, severely injuring the assailant.
He was shifted to Jinnah Hospital for medical assistance but could not be revived.
Further investigation is ongoing, and details about the deceased are being obtained, such as whether there is an existing criminal record. So far, police have confirmed that he was 52 years old.
