Kingri CMO reaches half-century of dog bite cases registered against him

Five more persons including two children got injured in different incidents of stray dogs’ attacks on the citizens in PIr Jo Goth are of Khairpur, reported 24NewsHD TV on Monday.
As per Sindh High Court order, Chief Municipal Officer Nadeem Jalbani was yet again booked over the dog bites as he reached a grim and unwanted milestone of over 50 dog bites cases registered against him so far.
Abdul Qayyum, Yousuf, Sheikh Nadir, Ali Bilawal and Jameel were the persons who were injured in dogs attacks and have been shifted to the hospital for the treatment.
The police have registered a case against CMO Kingri Nadeem Jalbani as per Sindh High Court’s directions in the Pir Jo Goth police station.
The police have conducted raids but could not arrest Jalbani as over 50 cases have been registered against so far.
On October 22, 2020, the Sindh High Court (SHC) Sukkur bench has ordered that if someone was bitten by a stray dog, a case should be registered against the municipal officer of that area.
The divisional bench, comprising Justice Aftab Ahmed Gorar and Justice Mehmood A. Khan, passed the order in a petition filed by a citizen, Faheem Ahmed, against the increase of menace of stray and mad dogs.
