Big increase in gold price in Pakistan

The global and Pakistani gold markets observed a soar in rates of the yellow metal, 24News HD TV Channel reported on Wednesday.

According to the report, the per tola price of 24 karats of pure gold increased by Rs900 and was sold at Rs216,500 in the Pakistani market.

The price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold also increased by Rs766 to Rs185,614 per ten grams.

The All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association reported that the price of per tola and ten-gram silver remained constant in the local market at Rs2,550 and Rs2,186.21 respectively.

In the international market on Wednesday, the price of gold was increased by $11 to $2,022 per ounce.
