Two people lost their lives in Rawalpindi firing incident 

Two people were killed when gunmen opened fire on them in Civil Lines police jurisdiction here on Saturday night, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.
During the initial information, the firing incident occurred after a minor dispute.
The deceased have been identified as Furqan and Ihtesham-ul-Haq. They succumbed to their bullet injuries before being shifted to the District Headquarters Hospital (DHQ) Rawalpindi.
Police received a distress call about the incident and scrambled to the crime scene, and started the probe after sending the bodies to the hospital for medicolegal procedure.
The assailants escaped before the arrival of law enforcers at the crime scene. One of the attackers is stated to be the son of a lady police constable.
Police were recording statements from witnesses and collecting forensic evidence to reach out to the murderers. Police said it was premature to say anything about the double murder.
Police are looking at all angles to ascertain the reason for the killing, pledging to track down the culprits and bring them to justice.
