Actress Sapna Pabbi summoned in India drugs probe

Actress Sapna Pabbi has strongly reacted to reports claiming that she has gone missing ever since the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) sent summons to her in the India drugs case.

The '24' actress took to Instagram and revealed that she is actually in London with her family and has not gone missing.

She wrote: "I am saddened to see speculative media reports in India about me being untraceable or missing. I have been back at home in London to be with my family and as such my lawyers have already communicated this with the authorities in India who are fully aware of my whereabouts."

Earlier, it was reported that Sapna’s name cropped up during the interrogation of Arjun Rampal’s girlfriend Gabriella Demetriades’ brother Agisilaos, who was arrested by the NCB recently.

According to Mid-Day, a notice was put up outside Sapna’s apartment in Mumbai asking her to appear before the NCB. But the actress didn’t respond and has gone missing. The official also told that if she doesn’t respond then a strong summons will be issued soon.

Gabriella’s brother was arrested from a resort in Lonavala. The officials also recovered drugs from his possession. During a raid at his home, Alprazolam, a tablet that is banned in India was recovered.
