Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) on Saturday fielded Chaudhry Aslam Gill as its candidate for by-election in NA-133, Lahore, reported 24NewsHD TV channel. 

The seat had fallen vacant owing to the death of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Lahore Pervez Malik.

PPP Central Punjab President and former prime minister Raja Pervez Ashraf has said that the party will do its utmost ensure that its candidate emerges victorious in the by-polls.
