Punjab Sports Board with the support of the Punjab Olympic Association has completed preparation for the 73rd Punjab Games. 

Punjab Games 2022 starting from 24 - 27 October 2022 at different venues of Nishtar Park Sports Complex Lahore in which competitions of 27 games will be held including seven games for women players. As many as 5000 athletes, male and female, will participate in 30 different disciplines.  Special Olympics, Paralympics & Transgender events are also included in the biggest Sports Extravaganza.

Teams consisting of prominent players from other provinces and divisions started arriving in Lahore. Nishtar Park Sports Complex has been decorated with beautiful flags while the stage has also been prepared for the opening ceremony at the National Hockey Stadium. 

The players are also preparing for March Past while artists are rehearsing cultural and gymnastic performances representing all provinces. Sports star flags have been installed at the National Hockey Stadium. 

DG Sports Punjab Tariq Qureshi, Director Admin Syed Ameer Hassan and Director Sports Nadeem Qaiser reviewed the preparations for the opening ceremony at the National Hockey Stadium.

DG Sports Punjab Tariq Qureshi said that the best accommodation and food facilities are being provided to the players. The Punjab Games will be conducted in the best way. The Games will bring out the best talent, Tariq Qureshi added.
