Jamadi-ul-Awwal moon sighted

The moon of  Jamadi-ul-Awwal has been officially sighted in Pakistan, marking the start of the Islamic month. The first of  Jamadi-ul-Awwal will fall on Friday, October 24, 2025, as confirmed by the Ruet-e-Hilal Committee.

A meeting chaired by Maulana Abdul Khabir Azad, Chairman of the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee, was held to announce the moon sighting. The Ministry of Religious Affairs followed up with an official notification confirming the date.
