PM Imran Khan praises Erdogan for raising voice for Kashmiris

Prime Minister Imran Khan on Wednesday appreciated Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan for once again raising his voice in support of the rights of the Indian Occupied Jammu and Kashmir people during his address to the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA), reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.
In a tweet, Imran Khan said, “Turkey’s unwavering support remains a source of strength for the Kashmiris in their legitimate struggle for self-determination.”

Tayyab Erdogan said, “The Kashmir issue which is a key to peace and conflict in South Asia is still a burning issue. Steps taken for the abrogation of the special status of Jammu and Kashmir {IOK} further complicate the problem.”
The Turkish President raising his voice for Kashmir said, “We are in favour of solving this issue through dialogue within the framework of United Nations resolutions and especially in line with the expectations of the wishes of Jammu Kashmir.”
