Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that the mafia does not want the rule of law in the country, reported 24News HD TV channel on Thursday.

The PM said that the mafia wanted to get NRO. But, he said, if the mafias would get NRO, the country would not be able to progress.

The PM was addressing a Kisan convention in Dera Ismail Khan in connection with the distribution of Kisan Cards amongst the farmers and inauguration of the Command Area of Gomal Zam Dam and Pakistan Agriculture Research Council’s Arid Research Stations.

While addressing the gathering, the PM Khan reaffirmed the government’s commitment to bolster the production of agriculture products in order to meet the requirements of the growing population. He said we have done all the planning to locally produce all the essential items including pulses and palm oil, adding that the barren areas would be used for cultivation besides ensuring better management of water and promoting research in the agriculture field.

The PM said that Pakistan especially Khyber Pakhtunkhwa would witness a revolution in olive production. He said Pakistan had the most suitable land for olive cultivation and it would be able to export the olive products.

The PM pointed out that it was the first time that work had been started on the construction of ten dams which would significantly enhance the water storage capacity.

Imran Khan said the government was focusing on primary education and primary health care system to check the population growth. He said that they had started to struggle for rule of law in the country in which they would succeed. He said it is important to follow the principles of the State of Madina to become a great nation.
