Spokesman for the Force said that forensic experts had collected evidences from the crime scene while the postmortem of Sara’s body had also been completed at the federal capital’s Poly Clinic Hospital.

Sources in the hospital, however, said that the postmortem could not establish the cause of her death due to which doctors had now decided to conduct the forensic test of her body.

They further said there were several injury marks on her body.

Sources said that Sara and Shah Nawaz had quarreled with each other on Friday morning. And when police reached the couple’s home, they found Shah Nawaz there, they said, adding contrary to the general impression the suspect was completely normal and was not drunk.

Police spokesman told media that Shah Nawaz had married Sara, a Canadian national, only three months back.

He further informed that she was Shah Nawaz’s third wife, and that efforts were being made to contact her family back in Canada. “And none from her family agrees to become a complainant in the case, the case will be registered on police’s complaint,” he informed.

Early in the morning, Ayaz Amir’s son Shah Nawaz had mercilessly murdered his wife by repeatedly hitting her with a dumbbell in Chak Shahzad area of Islamabad.

The accused used his gym dumbbell to strike his 37-year-old wife Sara in the head with continuous blows, sources in police said.

Police rushed to the crime scene after receiving information and started their investigation.

Shahnawaz turned out to a supporter of PTI Chairman Imran Khan as he had posted a picture with the former prime minister on his facebook account.

It merits to mention here that the public has not yet forgotten the memories of murder of Noor Mukadam, the daughter of a former Pakistani diplomat, in Islamabad by psycopath-like son of a businessman, Zahir Jaffer.
