England beat Pakistan by 63 runs in third T20I

England won the third T20 International against Pakistan by 63 runs played at National Stadium in Karachi on Friday night. The visitors now led the seven-match series by 2-1.

Chasing a massive target of 222 runs to win, Pakistani battters could only manage to score 158 runs by losing eight wickets in their allotted 20 overs.

Pakistan’s opening pair of Captain Babar Azam and Rizwan failed to impress this time as the hosts lost four wickets with just 28 runs in six overs were on the board. 

Babar Azam made only 8 runs in six balls and backed to the pavilion with Mohammad Rizwan who was also out on 8 runs after playing 14 balls. 

Mohammad Rizwan was bold by Reece Topley and Babar Azam was caught by Reece Topley on the ball of Mark Wook. Haider Ali was also hunted by Mark Wood, he made only 3 runs in five balls. 

Pakistan’s fourth wicket of Iftikhar Ahmed was fallen in the sixth over. He made six runs in seven balls with one boundary.

Pakistan’s fifth wicket fell at the score of 90 when Khushdil Shah was caught by Harry Brook on the ball of Adil Rashid. He made good 29 runs in 21 balls.

England posted a total score of 221 runs against Pakistan in the third Twenty20 international match at National Stadium Karachi on Friday, and only three players were out.

English batsmen Ben Duckett and Harry Brook played an aggressive but responsible game and made 139 runs in the partnership of the fourth wicket. They hit six sixes and 16 fours and remained not out.

Ducket made 70 runs on 42 balls with 8 fours and one six while Brook was a top scorer as he made 81 runs on 35 balls and hit 8 fours and 5 sixes.

Pakistan’s Dahani was an expensive bowler who gave 62 runs in four overs. Usman Qadir got two wickets against 48 runs and Hasnain took one wicket against 36 runs.

England adopted a positive approach with the bat in the 3rd T20 match with Pakistan and succeeded to make 89 runs on three wickets in the first 10 overs. 

Opening batsman Will Jacks made 40 runs with 8 fours on 22 balls. He was caught by Mohammad Nawaz on the ball of Usman Qadir.

Second-opening batsman Phil Salt is out on just 8 runs on the ball of Muhammad Hasnain. He was caught by Mohammad Nawaz too.

Dawid Malan performed poor as he made only 14 runs in 15 balls. Usman Qadir took his wicket when Haider Ali caught him in the ninth over.

Mohammad Nawaz has completed his four overs and remained unsuccessful to get any wicket of the English team.

Pakistan captain Babar Azam won the toss and sent England in to bat in the third Twenty20 international at the National Stadium in Karachi on Friday.

England, who are on their first tour of Pakistan in 17 years, won the first game of the seven-match series by six wickets, while Pakistan won the second by 10 wickets on Thursday. Both matches took place in Karachi.

Pakistan remained unchanged from the second game, while England handed a T20I debut to batter Will Jacks and added pacers Reece Topley and Mark Wood to the eleven.

Batter Alex Hales, Luke Wood and David Willey were left out.

The remaining matches are in Karachi (Sunday) and Lahore (September 28, 30 and October 2).
