Police in Bhara Kahu, Islamabad are reluctant to arrest an employee of a premier organisation, who was nominated in the rape case of a woman, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday.   

Sources in the police told 24News that a senior officer of the same organisation even had an altercation with the officer investigating the case in order to prevent his subordinate from being arrested.  

According to the text of the FIR, the suspect kidnapped a woman, took her to a room where he raped her all night. 

Police officials said that although they were being pressured not to arrest the man, still they were determined to take action against him as per the law.
