A man on Friday killed his seven-year-old daughter on the suspicion he was not his biological father, reported 24NewsHD TV channel. 

The gruesome incident occurred in Narowal where a man accused his wife of suspicious character and out of frustration, he strangled his minor daughter to death in the name of “honour”. Later, he buried the dead body in the nearby fields and went out to Qila Ahmedabad police station to lodge a report of missing child. 

However, the police interrogated the father on suspicion and ultimately confessed to his crime in front of the police.

According to police officials, accused Sadaqat Ali suspected that he is not the biological father of the minor girl. The accused left the house along with her daughter on the pretext of taking a walk and strangled her to death and later buried her in the fields.
