Weekly inflation report reveals 10kg flour bag to cost Rs297 more

The Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS) has a weekly report on inflation registering a decrease in inflation by 8.11%, 24News HD TV Channel reported Friday.
According to PBS, the weekly inflation rate reached 29.28 per cent while it was during the last week 40.58%.
In the recent week, the prices of 26 commodities increased and prices of 10 commodities decreased simultaneously while prices of 15 items remained unchanged. The price of a bag of flour weighing 10kg has been increased by 297 rupees. A packet of 190 grams of tea has been hiked by 20.16 rupees. The price of Broiler is increased by 12.76 rupees per kg. The small size of bread has become expensive by 1.84 rupees.
In one week, dal, gram, cigarettes, potato, dal, moong, rice, and sugar surged. Last week, electricity charges were decreased by 6.23 rupees. Tomatoes become cheaper by Rs 12. 4 rupees per kg while LPG cylinder 114.74 pc decreased. Last week, garlic, cooking oil, and onion also became cheaper.
