Two more kids die of Covid-19 in Islamabad

Two kids aged between one to 10 years died due to coronavirus in Islamabad, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.

According to the breakdown of the National Command and Operation Centre, seven children have been died up till now since April 1; 14 kids aged between one to 10 years old lost their lives since Feb 1, and altogether 47 children died of the Covid-19. 

In the first wave of the pandemic which lasted till July 30, 2020, coronavirus claimed the lives of 12 children. 

In the second wave which started on August 1, 2020 and lasted until Jan 31, 2021, 21 kids lost their lives to the virus. Altogether 33 children died of Covid-19 in these two waves.   

The third wave is proving more dangerous and lethal for children.
