IHC judges decide to give unanimous view to SC regarding suo moto case

A full court meeting of the Islamabad High Court (IHC) was held here on Tuesday. The meeting was chaired by Chief Justice Aamer Farooq, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

According to a press release issued by the IHC, all judges of the IHC attended the full court meeting and expressed their views on the subject in a pleasant manner. It was decided in the meeting that a unanimous view of the high court will be submitted to the Supreme Court of Pakistan regarding suo moto case.

During the meeting neither a single judge expressed any dissenting view on the issue.

It is pertinent to mention that the Supreme Court of Pakistan had sought an opinion from all judges of Islamabad High Court regarding the suo moto case after the letter of six judges of IHC which expressed concerns about the undue involvement of agencies in court matters.
