Faika Riaz, Sami Ullah reach 60m finals at Asian Beach Games

Pakistani sprinters Faika Riaz and Sami Ullah advanced to the finals of the 60-metre races at the Asian Beach Games underway in Sanya, China, 24NewsHD TV reported on Friday. 

According to details, Riaz secured her place in the women’s final after finishing second in the third heat, while fellow Pakistani sprinter Tameen Khan failed to qualify.

In the men’s competition, Sami Ullah also booked his spot in the final by finishing second in the opening heat.

Meanwhile, Pakistan registered a convincing victory in the kabaddi event, defeating Bangladesh 43-30.
