Two drown while fishing in River Ravi near Kartarpur

Two persons drowned while fishing in the River Ravi near Kartarpur area of near Narowal, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday.
Soon after receiving the report, rescue teams reached the spot and recovered the body of a 45-year-old man who was later identified as Asghar, while a 12-year-old boy who also drowned in the river was still missing, and the search for him was ongoing.
Both victims were fishing on the riverbank when they somehow drowned. Rescue teams continued their operation to retrieve the body of the missing child.
