Deadly dinner: Restaurant owner, staff arrested after Lahore girls' death

Lahore Police arrested the owner of a restaurant and several kitchen staff following the tragic deaths of two young sisters who fell unconscious and later died after eating food in Lahore, 24NewsHD TV reported on Sunday.

According to the first information report (FIR), registered on the complaint of Azeem, father of the victims, the family had eaten food at the Rolling Palace Restaurant located on PIA Road, Satukatla, Lahore, on August 16, 2025.

The FIR stated that three children became unconscious only a few hours after eating. The sisters, Tahreem, aged six, and Arha, aged four, were rushed to Sheikh Zayed Hospital but died during treatment. However, Azeem’s son, Hashir, managed to recover.

Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Operations Faisal Kamran took notice of the case and confirmed that police have begun investigations from all possible angles. The restaurant owner and staff remain in custody as inquiries continue.
