Hammad Azhar or Awais: PTI to nominate candidate for NA 129 by-poll tomorrow

The matter of the NA-129 by-election remains unresolved, as Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has yet to finalise the name of its candidate, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Sunday.

According to party sources, the PTI leadership has given Hammad Azhar the authority to select the candidate. 

However, ongoing legal cases against him have raised concerns about possible complications. 

It is still undecided whether Hammad Azhar himself will contest the by-election or nominate another candidate.

Sources further revealed that PTI is also considering awarding the ticket to Owais Anjum or Arsalan Ahmed as alternatives.

A final decision on the candidate is expected by tomorrow evening, as the party faces the deadline to confirm its nominee.
