Rabi-ul-Awwal moon sighting meeting to be held in Karachi today

The central meeting of the Ruet-e-Hilal Committee to sight the crescent of Rabi-ul-Awwal will be held today in Karachi under the chairmanship of Maulana Abdul Khabir Azad, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Sunday.

The meeting is scheduled to take place after Asr prayers at the Pakistan Meteorological Department’s Met Office in Karachi. 

Simultaneous zonal meetings will also be held in Islamabad, Lahore, Quetta, Peshawar, and other areas.

The final announcement regarding the sighting of the moon will be made by Chairman Abdul Khabir Azad after reviewing reports from across the country.
