TTAP condemns arrests of Imran Khan’s nephews
Spokesman for the Tehreek-e-Tahafuz-e-Ayeen-e-Pakistan (TTAP) Akhunzada Hussain Yousafzai on Sunday, along with the former prime minister and PTI founder Imran Khan’s lawyer, Khalid Yousuf Chaudhry, met with Aleema Khan, the sister of Imran, and expressed solidarity with her over the illegal arrest of her two sons, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Legal matters concerning the arrest of Aleema’s sons came under discussion at the meeting.
Speaking on the occasion, TTAP spokesman said that the alliance strongly condemned the arrests, which were meant to cause mental distress to Imran’s family. “The present government has stooped so low that it has now started victimizing the families of its opponents,” he said, and added that the arrests of Aleema’s sons were a negation of justice.
“We demand the immediate and unconditional release of her two sons,” Yousafzai concluded.
