Announces ban on sale of smuggled petrol across country

Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed on Thursday termed the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman root-cause of all the troubles in the country, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Sheikh Rashid said Fazlur Rehman is the “apple of discord: who wanted riots and disruption in the system. Sheikh Rashid said PML-N is dancing on the tunes of Fazlur Rehman.
The interior minister maintained that the PPP is “playing well” while Maulana Fazlur Rehman wanted to bring madrassa children to Islamabad.

Talking to newsmen in Islamabad, Sheikh Rashid said “MQM is our allied party and it would not be angry with the government. I will go to Nine Zero in Karachi and meet MQM leadership,” he further said.
Sheikh Rashid said visa-on-arrival facility was ordered by Prime Minister Imran Khan.
He also announced a ban on the sale of smuggled petrol across the country and said if the sale of smuggled petrol would not be banned in seven days, the concerned petrol pumps would be closed.
Sheikh Rashid said, “Water-mixed petrol in being smuggled that is destroying vehicles and citizens should also be careful in buying smuggled petrol to save vehicles.”
Sheikh Rashid earlier in the day attended a Christmas ceremony at the CDA headquarters in Islamabad and cut a Christmas cake. He said Christian community of Pakistan is loyal to the country and their loyalty will always be remembered.
