Prime Minister Imran Khan has welcomed the statement of Russian President Vladimir Putin on the blasphemy, reported 24News HD TV Channel on Friday.

According to the channel report, PM Imran has said that the Russian President has declared blasphemy against the Holy Prophet of Islam Hazrat Muhammad (SAW) as a violation of freedom of expression.

PM Imran Khan welcoming the Russian President's statement has said that all Muslim leaders must spread the message of Vladimir Putin.

He said to combat Islamophobia, the message must be spread that blasphemy is not freedom of expression in the name of the Prophet Muhammad.
