Pakistan-Oman naval exercise Al-Thamar Al-Tayyib, 2023 concludes

Al-Thamar Al-Tayyib, 2023, a naval exercise between Pakistan Navy and Oman’s Royal Navy, which was taking place in Gulf of Oman has drawn to a close, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.

According to the spokesman for the Pakistan Navy, naval ships and Special Services Groups from both countries, participated in the exercise.

Giving further details, he said the exercise featured Pakistan Navy’s PNS Aslat and fast attack aircraft PNS Quwwat. “Samarut Tayyab consisted of joint operations to deal with conventional and non-conventional risks of various nature,” he elaborated. 

He informed that the exercise was conducted between the naval forces of Pakistan and Oman every two years not only to promote ties between the two countries but to also put an end to illegal activities in the sea besides establishing peace and stability in the region.
