Court adjourns Ashiana-e-Iqbal case hearing till March 4

An accountability court Thursday adjourned hearing of Ashiana-e-Iqbal Housing Scheme case till March 4, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Suspects in the case including Opposition Leader Shehbaz Sharif, former LDA director general Ahad Cheema and others appeared before the court and marked their attendance.

NAB prosecutor Asadullah Malik produced three witnesses including Ejaz Ahmad, Amjad Iqbal and Usman Habib who recorded their statements before the court.

At this, the court summoned other NAB witnesses on the next hearing and adjourned further hearing of the case till March 4.

Also, Shehbaz Sharif met Ahad Cheema in the court room. He sat with him and assured him that the difficult time was about to end. Ahad Cheema also briefed Shehbaz Sharif about Ashiana-e-Iqbal case. On the occasion, PML-N leader Atta Tarar handed over important documents to Shehbaz Sharif.
