PML-N MNA from Attock Malik Sohail Khan Thursday fled from Gujranwala’s Sessions Court after the latter cancelled his bail in the Rs60 million bogus cheque case, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Additional Sessions Judge Sabir Sultan heard the case and cancelled bail of Malik Sohail Khan following which the latter took flight.

It is to be noted here that an FIR was registered against the PML-N lawmaker at Model Town police station on January 29 last after a Rs60 million worth cheque which he had given to a person was declared bogus by the bank concerned.

The complainant in the case maintained that the accused owned many petrol and diesel stations, and adding that he gave him a cheque worth Rs60 million to pay for the amounts of petrol and diesel. “The cheque was, however, dishonoured by bank concerned,” he stated.
