Some brutes have hammered nails in the ear of a six-year-old boy in the vicinity of Aroop police station in Gujranwala over old enmity, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday. 

Reportedly, six-year-old Arshman went outside but he did not return home. His parents became anxious and they went to the area mosque and made an announcement about their missing child on the loudspeaker. 

Some neighbours informed Arshman’s parents that they saw some rescue people taking their child to the hospital.

When the parents rushed to the hospital, they found that doctors were performing surgery on the ear of their child as some people had hammered nails in his ear. 

Doctors took out four nails from his ears. The nails broke child’s brain bone, besides damaging his ear and eye. 

The nails could be seen clearly in the X-ray and CT scan of his ear and head. 

When the child regained his consciousness after the surgery, he told his parents that the boys of Pathans had done this to him. 

According to sources, the cruel act was perpetrated on the poor child owing to an old enmity which started with a trivial argument between the family of the child and a family of Pathans. 

Father told the media that police were reluctant to file his complaint, nor did they arrest the accused.

He said Pathans fled their house in the night.
