Prateik Babbar and Priya Banerjee stepped out for a cosy dinner date in Mumbai days after tying the knot.
A video shared on Instagram captured the newlyweds outside a posh place last night.
Prateik Babbar kept it cool in a white tee and striped shorts layered up with a jacket perfectly matching his wife’s little black dress, while Priya added a pop of glamour with red lips, open hair, transparent heels, and her sleek mangal sutra.
The clip showed the duo’s adorable chemistry as they happily obliged to pose for the paparazzi, flashing their warm smiles.
After a while, Prateik and Priya headed inside the restaurant to spend a blissful dinner date in each other’s company.
As they bid adieu to the paps and proceeded to enter the place, Prateik, like a gentleman, held the door for his wife so that she could step into the premises hassle-free.
Indian actors Prateik Babbar and Priya Banerjee tied the knot on February 14.
Prateik is the son of actor-politician Raj Babbar and the late actress Smita Patil.
Prateik began his career assisting advertisement filmmaker Prahlad Kakkar and soon transitioned to acting. He made his film debut in 2008 with Jaane Tu... Ya Jaane Na, earned critical acclaim and several awards for his role.
He appeared in Dhobi Ghat , Dum Maaro Dum, Aarakshan, Baaghi 2, and Chhichhore (2019).
In 2019, he married film producer Sanya Sagar; however, the couple separated in 2020 and finalized their divorce in January 2023.
Born in Canada, Priya Banerjee pursued a degree in International Marketing and Computer Science before venturing into the entertainment industry.
In 2011, she participated in the Miss World Canada beauty pageant, where she was awarded Miss Photogenic. Priya is a trained Kathak dancer and has performed at various shows in Canada.
She made her acting debut in the Telugu film Kiss and subsequently appeared in Tamil and Hindi films, including Joru, Asura, and Jazbaa. She has also been featured in web series such as Baarish and Hello Mini.
