Sindh Rangers hold grand 32nd Passing Out Parade in Karachi

A grand ceremony marked the 32nd Passing Out Parade of Rangers Recruits at the Rangers Training Center and School Karachi.

Corps Commander Karachi, Lieutenant General Owais Dastgir, attended as the chief guest, while Director General Pakistan Rangers (Sindh), Major General Muhammad Shamrez, welcomed him upon arrival.

During the ceremony, Lieutenant General Owais Dastgir reviewed the parade and presented a salute alongside the marching troops. He also distributed prizes among the recruits who excelled during their rigorous training.

Addressing the gathering, the Corps Commander praised the high standard of the parade and congratulated the recruits and their families on successfully completing their training. He lauded the Pakistan Rangers (Sindh) as a highly respected force known for its bravery, discipline, and professionalism.

Highlighting their contributions, he commended Sindh Rangers for their crucial role in securing international borders, conducting successful operations against terrorists and criminals in Karachi, and providing top-tier security for national and provincial events.

“In today’s era, Pakistan’s adversaries have turned to hybrid and fifth-generation warfare to create internal instability. However, Pakistan Rangers (Sindh) has made significant achievements in restoring peace, particularly in Karachi,” he remarked.

He further noted that Sindh Rangers, in collaboration with other agencies, had arrested several criminals, recovered large caches of weapons and ammunition, and played a key role in security operations, including anti-smuggling efforts, religious events, and major international exhibitions such as Ideas 2024 and the International Food and Agriculture Exhibition. The force was also instrumental in ensuring the smooth conduct of sporting events like the ICC Champions Trophy and the Tri-National Cricket Series.

The ceremony was attended by senior law enforcement officials, dignitaries from various sectors, and families of the graduating recruits. A special performance by the Camel Squad of Pakistan Rangers (Sindh) was met with enthusiastic applause from the audience, adding to the grandeur of the event.
