Gold price rises by Rs3,400 per tola in Pakistan

The price of 24-karat per-tola gold increased by Rs3,400 and was sold at Rs539,962 on Tuesday compared to its sale at Rs536,562 on the previous trading day, All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association reported.
The price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold also increased by Rs2,915 to Rs462,930 from Rs460,015, whereas the price of 10 grams of 22-karat gold went up by Rs-2,672 to Rs424,367 from Rs421,695.
The price of per-tola silver increased by Rs192 to Rs9,286 from Rs9,094, while that of 10 grams silver rose by Rs165 to Rs7,961 from Rs7,796.
The price of gold in the international market increased by $34 to $5,172 from $5,138, whereas that of silver rose by $1.92 to $88.02.
