International Cricket Council (ICC) Tuesday announced test team of the year mentioning the best 11 players combined across all three formats after a year of action and a very proud moment for Pakistan is that Babar Azam is featured in ICC’s test team of the year 2022.

For the list, 11 countries were represented for various lineups and they included World Cup Winners, ICC’s Players of the month and also some emerging talents that excelled in the past year.

The List that was revealed by ICC featured the best players from six countries including Pakistan, India, South Africa, West Indies, Australia and England. Mentioning the players of the test team:

2.   Babar Azam (Pak)

3.   Usman Khawaja (Aus)

4.   Kraigg Brathwaite (WI)

5.   Marnus Labuschagne (Aus)

6.   Jonny Bairstow (Eng)

The Captain Ben Stokes took England’s captaincy and revived the Test Series.

Pakistani captain Babar Azam in the last Test series scored the most runs.
