In the Sindh Local Government (LG) Elections Phase-II, the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has withheld the final results of six Union Councils (UCs)of Karachi on different complaints.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, the ECP has released the unofficial results of 229 UCs, out of a total of 235 UCs in Karachi. 

The LG Elections were held on 235 UCs on January 15 and Pakistan People's Party has been declared as a top political party with 91 seats while Jamaat-e-Islami got 85 seats and PTI succeeded on 42 seats.
As per the results, Pakitan Muslim League Nawaz has got 7 seats, JUI 2 seats, TLP wins only one seat while an independent candidate succeeded to get a seat in Karachi.
The channel report said the notification of the successful candidates is likely to be released in a couple of days and they will be sworn in after their notifications.
Women and other reserved seats will be determined after the notification is issued. 
In the next phase, the LG Election will be held on the vacant seats and then the election of town chairmen will be carried out
